Luděk Staněk

Journalist, comic, script writer, script editor, actor and presenter has a career of over 20 years in the media. His activities have ranged from music programmes, editor in chief of lifestyle magazines, presenter of tv talk shows to commentating on live poker broadcasts!

His stand-up comedy career launched in 2014 when he started to appear at live events and on Comedy Club for Prima Comedy Central and for Underground Comedy on Stream.cz. For Stream.cz he was also editor of entertainment shows and drama and had his own comedy show Pořad Luděk Staněk. For radio he was a presenter on Radio 1 and currently presents Press Klub for Frekvence 1. He has a regular show on Mall TV – Událostí Ludka Staněk and was the writer of the comic drama series Stylista, also for Mall TV. As an actor he has appeared in adverts and in the TV series Bez vědomí (HBO) and Dáma a Král (Nova). He also regularly moderates events and chairs discussions.
